Market recorded a turnover of LKR 5.2 Bn owing to the large block of shares traded pertaining to CINS. CINS recorded 6 crossings at LKR 1602 contributing LKR 3.5 Bn to the turnover . However ASPI was down by 8 points due to the negative price movements in DIST, BUKI and SLTL. Meanwhile price of SEYB increased by 1.33% to close at LKR 106.50 following the release of recent interim results. Foreign investors were net buyers for the second consecutive day with a net foreign inflow of LKR 2733 Mn while the foreign stake of CINS and UML increased by 1,673,449 and 4,889,132 shares while the foreign stake of JKH and COMB decreased.
