LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 27 July 2015

Focus: Market posted losses in indices today as volatility continued to disturb the positive momentum. ASPI closed 21 points lower due to the negative price movements in SLTL, ASIR and AHUN which dragged the index by 7.6 points. However turnover remained above LKR 1 Bn. SPEN topped the turnover list while recording a single crossing at LKR 98 and contributing LKR 152 Mn to the total turnover. Foreign investors remained as net buyers with a net foreign inflow of LKR 65 Mn while foreign buying was mainly seen in JKH, DIST and GREG. Today's foreign selling was mainly seen in SPEN and DFCC.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.43%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 65 Mn.
