First Capital Daily Market Watch 27 May 2015

The Colombo Bourse saw heavy volatility during the day amidst continuous ups and downs throughout the day. Selling pressure was see to be high as the month end draws closer. As the index closed 8 points down HHL, BREW and DIST weighed negatively on the index. Strong buying interest was observed on counters that released positive results. 7 crossings were witnessed with 4 in COMB accounting for 1.5mn shares at LKR 164.0 and 3 crossings in NDB accounting for 650k shares changing hands at LKR 275.0.
