Earnings for the quarter ended 31st December 2014 showed a marginal increase of
5.01% while 9,12 month earnings (9/12M) increased by 23.37%. Bank, Finance &
Insurance (BFI) which is the biggest earning contributor for the quarter posted a
32.54% increase in earnings during the quarter compared with the previous year
while 9/12M earnings increased by 50%. Most of the sectors saw negative earning
growths with only 9 sectors showing positive bottom line growth. Total of 221
counters have been considered in the sample
