Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.09%.
Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 84 Mn.

Focus: ASPI witnessed gains due to price appreciations in CARS, NEST and BREW while S&P SL 20 declined marginally to end at 4067. Daily market turnover reported slightly lower compared with the previous trading day. SEYB.X being the highest contributor to the today's turnover closed price at LKR 78 gaining 1.04%. Foreign investors closed the day as net sellers with a net foreign outflow of LKR 84 Mn while foreign stake of DIAL declined by 4,353,940 shares .Meanwhile individual investor interest was witnessed in ALUF and ALUM with prices closed at LKR 44.30 and LKR 18.40 gaining 14.47% and 5.75% respectively.
