The price gains in counters such as Cargills, Dialog Axiata and Sri Lanka Telecom resulted in indices closing in green whilst turnover crossed Rs 531 Mn. High net worth and institutional investor participation was witnessed in Hatton National Bank and Laugfs Gas. Mixed interest was observed in Renuka Foods and MTD Walkers whilst retail interest was noted in Kegalle Plantations, Richard Pieris & Company and Sanasa Development Bank. Meanwhile, foreigners closed as net sellers mainly due to foreign selling in Laugfs Gas, Hatton National Bank and Kegalle Plantations. Currently, net foreign outflows for the month of July accounts for over Rs1.5 Bn
