Dialog Axiata – Investing activity of subsidiary company of Dialog:
The Digital Holdings Lanka (Private) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of DIAL,
acquired 740,000 of the ordinary shares in issue (54.29%) of Digital Commerce Lanka (Private) Limited, in which DIAL holds a 45.71% stake, from all the shareholders of Digital Commerce Lanka (Private) Limited for a total consideration of LKR 247.9mn. Subsequent to the aforesaid acquisition, Digital Holdings Lanka (Private) Limited & DIAL will hold 100% of the shareholding in Digital Commerce Lanka (Private) Limited. Digital Commerce Lanka (Private) Limited is a leading e-commerce company which operates wow.lk, Sri Lanka’s premier e-commerce portal.
