Tourism Industry: The right stimulus

Sri Lanka is planning to attract 2.5 Mn tourists by 2016 and currently in the process of executing the Tourism Strategy (2011-2016). In this report, we raise up key areas of concern in achieving the targets of the said strategy against the regional competition. We also highlight the measures that need to be taken and the right mix of government and private sector involvement, in order to mitigate the risks and propel the sustainability.
