Rights Issue Purchase by Directors

There is a Rights Issue now in progress on basis 5:4 at price Rs.35.00 (voting). However there is a recent disclosure (5.12.2012) that the Directors have purchased nearly 2 million shares at 10.00 cents. I wonder how this is possible.
