LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 30 June 2015

Focus: Bourse closed the daily operations on a negative note, with main index and S&P SL20 declined by 11 points and 4 points respectively. Daily market turnover was LKR 651 Mn. COMB became the highest contributor to the turnover while also recording two crossings at LKR 160 and closing price of the counter at LKR 160.50. Other crossing was recorded in HNB while total crossings represented 35% of the market turnover. Meanwhile AEL announced that it has invested in 100% and 50% of the ordinary shares of Horizon Holdings Ventures (pvt.) Ltd. & Horizon Holdings (pvt.) Ltd. for a consideration of LKR 273.6 Mn and LKR 250 Mn respectively.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.28%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 83 Mn.
