Focus: Bourse continued to remain on positive side with main index recording a gain of 12 points and S&P SL20 recording a marginal gain of 3 points. Turnover reached LKR 2.2 Bn, boosted by three crossings took place in ASIR which contributed LKR 803 Mn to the turnover .Other crossings were recorded in JKH and COMB while total crossings represented 55% of the turnover. Individual investor interest was witnessed in CIC, HHL and ALUM with prices appreciated by 3.09%, 4.12% and 3.74% respectively. Foreign investors were net buyers recording a net foreign inflow of LKR 931 Mn. Today's net foreign buying was mainly witnessed in ASIR, JKH and HHL.

§ Health Care sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.69%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 931 Mn.
