First Capital Daily Market Watch 22 May 2015

The benchmark index was static during the early hours of trading before
it reached a low of 7,274. However the index recovered to close at a
weighted average of 7,289 gaining 15 points. Price appreciations in CARS,
NEST and BREW contributed heavily on the index. Turnover and volumes
dropped during the day while foreign participation was recorded at 16%.
A single crossing was seen in NEST trading 16,666 shares at LKR 2,205.0.
