First Capital Daily Market Watch 25 May 2015

Colombo Stocks showed a downward movement during the day to close at a weighted average of 7,285 losing 4 points. CARS and LION contributed positively on the index while COMB and DIST contributed negatively. Volumes were stable while turnover declined marginally during the day’s trading. Foreign participation remained low at 15% while a net foreign inflow of LKR 77mn was recorded. A crossing was seen in COCR trading 777k shares at LKR 72.0.
