NDB Securities Daily market Update 8 July 2015

The price losses in counters such as John Keells Holdings, Sri Lanka Telecom and Hatton National Bank resulted in indices closing in red with ASPI dropping nearly 44 points. Turnover for the day was Rs 518 Mn with high net worth and institutional investor participation was witnessed in Seylan Bank, Lanka Milk Foods, Citizens Development Business Finance and Ceylon Tobacco Company. Mixed interest was
observed in Hatton National Bank and Commercial Bank whilst retail interest was noted in Access Engineering, Textured Jersey Lanka and Commercial Credit & Finance. Meanwhile, foreigners remained active closing as net sellers mainly due to foreign selling in Hatton National Bank.
