LOLC Securities Market Watch: Weekly 30 July 2015

Bourse managed to close the weekly operations in the green zone despite the negative sentiment which was witnessed in the beginning of the week. ASPI reached
7314 mark on Wednesday while also recording the highest turnover for the week due to crossing took place pertaining to CINS.

Nineteen crossings were recorded during the week while JKH accounted for five out of them. Bank, Finance and Insurance and Diversified sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while constructions sector became the highest gainer(+5.19%).
CTC, JKH and CCS lifted up the ASPI by 45.74 points while SLTL dragged down the index by around 6.89 points. ASPI and S&P SL20 up by 63 points and 36.30 points
respectively.

Rupee increased during the week and closed at LKR 133.75 per USD. One year T-bill rate increased and closed at 6.42%. Gold prices depreciated and closed at 1,087.01$/Oz while oil prices increased to close at 49.26$/Barrel.
