LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 19 June 2015

Focus: Bourse closed the weekly operations on a negative note, revising the positive sentiment reflected in previous two trading days. However turnover improved compared with the previous trading day and reported at LKR 635 Mn. DFCC being the highest contributor to the turnover for the second day recorded a single crossing at LKR 200 and closed the price at LKR 200.10. Retail investor interest was witnessed in HNB, EAST and VFIN with prices appreciated by 0.18%, 9.09% and 1.72% to close at LKR 219.00, LKR 16.80 and LKR 59.00. Foreign investors closed the day as net sellers recording a net foreign outflow worth of LKR 103 Mn while foreign stake of NDB declined by 329,466 shares.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.53%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 103 Mn.
