LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 18 June 2015

Focus: Bourse closed the daily operations on a positive note as the main index and S&P SL20 gained by 14 points and 9 points respectively. Daily turnover recorded at LKR 566 Mn with DFCC being the highest contributor to the turnover. Crossings were recorded pertaining to DFCC, GUAR and PCHH while crossings represented only 14% of the turnover. PCHH also announced a fully owned subsidiary, Adam Capital Micro Credit (Pvt) Ltd, was incorporated on 15th June 2015 for the purpose of operating a business in Micro Credit. Further TKYO announced that incorporation of a subsidiary company called Tokyo Super Aggregate Limited for setting up a plant.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.25%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 2 Mn.
