Focus: Indices closed with positive values for the second consecutive day with turnover improved to LKR 810 Mn compared with the previous trading day. JKH, became the highest contributor to the turnover while also recording two crossings at LKR 208 and closing the price of the counter at LKR 207.40 gaining 3.65%. SAMP also recorded a crossing while total crossings of the day represented 13% of the market turnover. Retail investor interest was witnessed in JKHW22, ALHP and LGL.X with prices appreciated by 15.38%, 1.72% and 1.16% respectively. Foreigners were net buyers with foreign purchases mainly seen in JKH, SAMP and ALHP.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 1.68%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 74 Mn.
