LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 25 June 2015

Focus: Indices continued the negative sentiment to close the day in red as investors remained uncertain ahead of possible general election. Daily market turnover was LKR 628 Mn underpinned by several crossings took place pertaining to COMB, NEST, HNB and JKH while total crossings contributed 19% to the turnover. Foreign investors remained as net sellers while foreign selling was mainly seen in JKH,COMB and LLUB. Meanwhile JKH announced that the project company, Waterfront Properties (private) Limited, has finalized a syndicated project development facility amounting to USD 395 Mn with standard Chartered Bank thus concluding the required debt financing for the project.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.04%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 167 Mn.
