ocus: During the day, ASPI was up by 5 points and S&P SL20 was down by 19 points. Following three consecutive days of positive trading sessions market closed the daily operations on a mixed note with CTC, CCS and HHL being the main contributors to lift the main index up. Daily market turnover reached LKR 983 Mn with RCL topped the turnover list contributing LKR 99 Mn to the turnover. Only COMB recorded a crossing for the day at LKR 170, while crossing represented 8% of the market turnover. Foreign investors closed the day as net sellers recording a net foreign outflow of LKR 98 Mn with net foreign selling was mainly seen in COMB, GREG and JKH. Today's foreign buying was mainly seen in LGL.X and RCL. Meanwhile CSE announced that ORIN has been delisted from the official list of CSE with effect from end of trading on 30th July 2015. The debentures issued by ORIN prior to the amalgamation with Bartleet Finance PLC will remain listed until maturity.
§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.41%.
§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 98 Mn.
