LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 12 June 2015

Focus: Market saw a positive sentiment at the end of the week while ASPI and S&P SL 20 gained 9 and 8 points respectively to close in Green. Blue chip counters mainly led the indices up while gainers surpassed losers 102 to 74. Turnover level recorded above LKR 1.5Bn while 12 crossing were recorded for the day representing 47% of the total turnover. JKH became the highest contributor to the turnover while recording 3 crossings at LKR 190 and 4 crossings at LKR 191, gaining 1.94%. Other crossings took place pertaining to NDB, HNB.X, PLC and SAMP. Foreign investors recorded a net foreign outflow of LKR 866 Mn while foreign selling was mainly witnessed in JKH, PLC and NDB.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 1.04%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 866 Mn.
