Focus: During the day, ASPI was up by 9 points and S&P SL20 was up by 5 points. Market recorded a turnover worth of LKR 696 Mn with COMB, TRAN and DIAL lifted up the main index up by 7.85 points. JKH became the highest contributor to the turnover while also recording a single crossing at LKR 174 and contributing total of LKR 211.4 Mn to the market turnover. Counter closed at LKR 174 down by LKR 1.00. TJL also recorded a crossing with total crossings of the day represented 27% of the market turnover. Foreign investors turned to be net buyers with a net foreign inflow of LKR 290 Mn with today's net foreign buying mainly seen in JKH, COMB and TJL. ASPI started the day at 7155 level and showed a slight upward trend towards the end of the day, and eventually closed at 7162 level.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.12%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 290 Mn.
