Focus: During the day, ASPI was down by 24 points and S&P SL20 was down by 15 points. Market recorded a turnover worth of LKR 658 Mn with counters such JKH, COCR and HNB dragged the main index by 9.17 points. HHL became the highest contributor to the turnover while also recording a single crossing at LKR 88 and contributing total of LKR 101.7 Mn to the market turnover. TKYO.X also recorded a crossing for the day with total crossings represented 18% of the market turnover. Foreign investors were net buyers recording a net foreign inflow of LKR 30 Mn while today's net foreign buying was mainly seen in TKYO.X. KAPI announced for an issue of 25 Mn Rated, Senior, Unsecured, Redeemable Debentures with an option to issue further 5 Mn of said Debentures at a par value of LKR 100 at the discretion of the company in the event of an over subscription of the initial issue.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.86%.

§ Foreign investors were in a buying sentiment, while the net foreign inflows amounted to LKR 30 Mn.
