Focus: During the day, ASPI was down by 35 points and S&P SL20 was down by 32 points. Market recorded a turnover worth of LKR 1.3 Bn with counters JKH, COMB and HHL driving the main index down by 18.93 points. LLUB became the highest contributor to the turnover while recording two crossings at LKR 370 and contributing total of LKR 498.4 Mn to the market turnover. Further JKH and RICH recorded crossings for the day with total crossings contributed 58% to the market turnover. Foreign investors were net sellers with a net foreign outflow of LKR 88 Mn while net foreign selling was mainly seen in LLUB and COMB. Foreign buying was seen in LIOC and JKH. Losers surpassed gainers 106 to 43. ASPI started at 7087 level and showed a declining trend to close at 7051 level. Meanwhile ICRA Lanka Limited assigned a BBB with a Stable Outlook issuer rating for CDB.
