LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 7 July 2015

Focus: Bourse closed the daily operations in the red territory for the second consecutive day with negative price movements in index heavy counters led the decline. JKH, highest contributor to the turnover recorded four crossings and contributed LKR 229 Mn to the total turnover while price of the counter closed at LKR 180.10 with a decline of LKR 2.00. Other crossings were recorded in NEST and SEYB while total crossings represented 44% of the turnover. Investor interest was witnessed in TJL with price appreciated slightly to close at LKR 27.70 subsequent to the announcement of dividends. Foreign investors remained as net sellers while foreign selling was mainly seen in JKH and HNB.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was down by 0.17%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 162 Mn.
