LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 22 July 2015

Focus: Bourse closed the daily operations on a positive note following two consecutive days of negative trading sessions. Daily market turnover reached LKR 1.6 Bn with COMB topped the turnover list. COMB also recorded four crossings at LKR 168 while price closed at LKR 168.10 with a gain of LKR 1.10. Other crossings were took place in JKH and SAMP while total crossings contributed 34% to the market turnover. Foreign investors closed the day as net sellers recording a net foreign outflow of LKR 443 Mn while net foreign selling was mainly seen in COMB, JKH,LGL and EXPO.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 1.03%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 443 Mn.
