LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 21 July 2015

Focus: Indices were volatile during the day and closed in red territory after seven consecutive positive trading days. JKH highest contributor for the turnover recorded two crossings at LKR 183 while contributing LKR 182 Mn to the total turnover. Other crossings were took place in CFVF and HNB.X while total crossings represented 42% of the market turnover. GRAN, LIOC and SEYB.X attracted investor interest with prices appreciated by 2.36%, 2.42% and 0.81% respectively. Foreign investors were net sellers with net foreign selling mainly seen in JKH, HNB.X , CFVF and LIOC.

§ Diversified Holdings sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.06%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 233 Mn.
