LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 10 July 2015

Focus: Bourse continued to be on positive side for the second consecutive day with index heavy counters continuing to show gains. DIAL became the highest contributor to the turnover for the second consecutive day with price closed flat at LKR 10.30. JKH, second highest contributor for the turnover closed at LKR 182.80 gaining 2.12%. Retail investor interest was also witnessed in LGL.X and AEL with prices appreciated by 1.15% and 3.31% respectively. Only NDB recorded a crossing for the day contributing 8% to the total turnover. Foreign investors remained as net sellers while foreign selling was mainly witnessed in DIAL, LGL.X, JKH and NDB.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.73%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 232 Mn.
