LOLC Securities Market Watch: Daily 17 July 14 2015

Focus: Bourse continued to be on positive side while ASPI crossed 7000 mark after five trading days with a gain of 18 points. Turnover was LKR 531 Mn underpinned by a single crossing took place in HNB at LKR 210. Subsequent to the dividend announcement of LKR 45.00 by KGAL counter became the highest gainer for the day recording a gain 48.26% to close at LKR 141. Further interest was also witnessed in other related party companies such as RICH, NAMU and KVAL with prices of those counters appreciated by LKR 0.40, LKR 7.90 and LKR 5.90 respectively. Foreign investors continued to be net sellers with net foreign selling was mainly seen in HNB, KGAL and RICH.

§ Bank Finance & Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index was up by 0.2%.

§ Foreign investors were in a selling sentiment, while the net foreign outflows amounted to LKR 27 Mn.
